AF Detection: Presentation from Numed on how to use the AF detection device MyDiagnostick and its software

SEL ICB and the South London Health Innovation Network (HIN) ran an expression of interest process in January 2024 for PCNs to receive hand-held AF Detection devices (MyDiagnostick). These devices are scheduled to arrive to PCNs in April/May.  This webinar will explain how to use the devices and accompanying software. This webinar is open to anyone interested in finding out more about MyDiagnostick devices but is particularly relevant to staff from PCNs who have signed up to the project and who will be using the devices and software.

AF Detection: Recommendations for actioning results from the AF detection device MyDiagnostick and how to approach discussions about AF with patients

Learn what to do with a red or a green result to ensure patients with potential AF are managed safely and effectively and their notes updated accordingly. We will also discuss talking about AF with patients at the point of screening to support effective communication.

AF detection project: community of practice: Sharing of learning so far

PCN project leads to join HIN and ICB colleagues for an informal session of sharing learning and solution finding. This is an opportunity for you to share your experiences of using the device with patients and to ask any questions you have about the device, what to do with the results and about the management of AF.
